MORE RECEPTION DESKS
Roy was commissioned by the Friends of Yeovil District Hospital to make 3 more receptons desks, 2 of which are re-designed to a larger version for 3 persons. These desks are large enough to achieve Roy's original vision to have a double wings, and is a good symbol for their friends's Flying Colours Appeal. Using CNC technology, the design no longer requires jig, making it more flexible for future versions. He also helped specify seating by Vincent Large, a local eco furniture maker who trained at the Edward Barnsley Trust. Roy's work continues with the hospital.

WELCOME AREA
Roy was commissioned by the Friends of Yeovil District Hospital to supply seating and signage design for their main reception peaceful welcoming area. The bench is one which Roy originally made for the Natural History Museum. He also helped specify seating by fellow lecturer Asaf Tolkovsky, a local eco furniture maker from Bridport. Roy's work continues with the hospital.

RECEPTION DESK
Roy was commissioned by the King's Fund and Friends of Yeovil District Hospital to re-design a larger version of his Ecology Building Society 'Wing' Reception Desk for a pilot scheme to spearhead their vision to give patients a friendlier healing surrounding. Using CNC technology, the design no longer requires jig, making it more flexible for future versions. He also helped specify seating and new lightweight stackable visitors' stools by Johnathan Wright. Roy's work continues with the hospital.

SUSTAINABLE HOUSING TROPHIES
Roy was commissioned by a government body to design and make an eco trophy for a sustainable housing award. Using CNC technology, Roy was able to translate their logo into 3D and deliver on time.

Well, aproximately 36, and in the form of 2 extendable solid oak tables, designed and delivered in a record 6 weeks to a large happy family.

NEW APPOINTMENT
Roy has been appointed part time senior lecturer at the University of Plymouth specialising in sustainability, lecturing on 3D Design to Designer Makers, Product, and Furniture and Interiors.

Students at Sherborne's Gryphon School designed and made two full size benches under Roy's guidance during the Design Council's Designers in Schools Week. Roy also provided off-cuts from his Leicester Cathedral order. "It is my ambition that more products are made using our workshop's surplus."

Rain water toilet flush and automatic light dimming goes hand in hand with eco furniture by Roy Tam at Wessex Water's award winning headquarters. In addition to reception tables and executive sideboards, Trannon's folding Solo tables also furnished their schools visitors centre.

NATURAL HISTORY MUSEUM BENCHES
Roy Tam successfuly delivered 45 solid maple benches and 10 warder's High Stools on schedule for the Waterhouse and Earth Galleries at the Natural History Museum.
